The 17th annual celebration and Parents’ Day of Gurukul Vidhyashram, located in Powerhouse of Pokhara Metropolitan Ward No. 30, has been completed today. During the program, Mr. Surya Bahadur Khadka Bikarchi, Chairman of Gandaki Prajna Foundation, informed that Gurukul is established as an excellent educational institution in the Lekhnath area.
He highlighted the leading position of the school in extracurricular activities and emphasized that the success achieved by students is indeed the success of the educational institution. Principal Milan K.C. mentioned that along with academic excellence, efforts are being made to ensure the holistic development of students.
Deputy Chairman of Gandaki Prajna Foundation, Gore Gurung, mentioned the necessity to incorporate students into extracurricular activities alongside academic excellence. Parent Saraswati Shrestha emphasized the importance of giving time to their children beyond just sending them to school.
During that event, students engaged in various cultural presentations across different classes, and outstanding students were awarded in both academic and extracurricular activities. Additionally, Ram Prasad Dhakal, the head of extracurricular activities at Gurukul College of Management, and advisor Nilisha Thakuri K.C. also spoke at the program.
The program, conducted under the chairmanship of Principal Milan K.C., was successfully managed. Ram Prasad Dhakal, the head of extracurricular activities at Gurukul Vidhyashram and Gurukul College of Management, oversaw the proceedings. The program concluded with thanks from advisor Nilisha Thakuri K.C.
