RCSCulture organized a musical concert “Rhythms of Russia”

Kathmandu : Russian Centre of Science and Culture organized a musical concert “Rhythms of Russia” by soloist of the Bolshoi Theatre, Mr. V. Hertz to mark the Constitution Day of Russia. Representative from RCSC threw some light on the importance of this day and talked about Constitution of Russia. Russia’s Constitution Day is a celebration of the adoption of the Constitution of the Russian Federation by referendum on December 12, 1993, after the historical collapse of the Soviet Union in 1990. The main idea of the Constitution however is that the state must serve society and the people. It must work for the good and success of each of its citizens.

There was a beautiful musical evening gifted  by People’s Artist of Russia Vladimir Hertz and he was accompanied by Ms. Bavykina Ksenia. Vladimir Hertz is the owner of sonorous, beautiful, rich overtones of the voice, a graduate of the Moscow State Conservatory. He is convincing both in the Opera House and on the concert stage, has a great command of academic and pop repertoire, with a truly Chaliapin charm and also performs Russian folk songs. The audiences thoroughly enjoyed all the musical performances including Russian folk songs. The program ended with a  Presence of various diplomats was also seen in the program.
